@martyn@mlemweb I haven't published them yet but I've got a pile of index cards with the proportions of ingredients. I'll probably put together a little repository with the recipes and techniques.
We've set a goal that @mlemweb and I aim to see how far we can go with the just-add-water DIY "MREs" I've been making. We're aiming to eat at least one for a meal each day this year.
How long will this work out?
Anyway, we're on the third for the day: - a tapioca porridge for breakfast (a bit indulgent) - mac & cheese florentine for lunch - a cauliflower-chickpea curry for dinner
In general if I'm installing user packages, I'd prefer the build system I'm using just take longer than have parallel builds suddenly allocate 11GB of memory and crash my computer
I'm not sure 2021 is going to be much better on a global scale than 2020 but I'm optimistic about 2021 being a good year for developments on the federated social web.
Oh, now I remember why I haven't used Blender in a few years... crashes on my intel card (and messes up the entire window manager somehow) every now and then.
However, it looks like those bugs may have been fixed in a newer version of Blender than is in Guix (we're still on 2.83.9): https://developer.blender.org/D2995
So maybe upgrading would allow me to do fun Blender things again.
Taking a short holidaze is probably good for being refreshed. Doing conferences can be good for connections, and the last three days were very interesting.
But there is a ton of work to be done and I am glad I don't have any scheduled interruptions on my work today.
